After years as a therapist—and years of leaving beautiful treatments feeling surprisingly unchanged—I knew relaxation could be approached with more intention.

What is a Japanese head spa?
A Japanese head spa is an immersive scalp and hair treatment that commonly combines scalp cleansing, massage, conditioning and flowing water. LUNARE builds on that foundation with a deliberately paced sensory ritual focused on how you feel as a whole—not only your hair.
Where can I find a Japanese head spa near Tunbridge Wells?
LUNARE is located in a private treatment room in Crowborough, East Sussex, within easy reach of Tunbridge Wells as well as Uckfield and Heathfield. Exact directions are provided after booking.
How long is the treatment and how much does it cost?
The LUNARE treatment lasts 90 minutes and costs £120. Allow a little additional time to arrive, settle and leave without rushing.
What does “nervous system reset” mean?
It describes the intention and feeling of the ritual: moving from everyday sensory busyness towards a calmer, quieter state. It is a wellbeing experience, not a medical treatment or a promise to diagnose or cure a health condition.
Is LUNARE just a scalp massage?
No. Scalp work is central, but LUNARE also brings together flowing water, warmth, sound, carefully timed touch and stillness. The complete sequence is designed as one continuous experience.
Do you offer training for therapists?
Yes. LUNARE Reset is designed for therapists without specialist head-spa equipment, while LUNARE Signature teaches the full head-spa protocol. Join the therapist waitlist for launch details.
Will my hair be dried before I leave?
Your hair will be gently towel-dried at the end of the ritual. To preserve the calm, quiet atmosphere of the treatment, blow-drying and styling are not included. Please plan to leave with damp hair.
